Let the Easter Sunday fashion show commence

The most superficial part of Resurrection Sunday is the fashion show. You know what I'm talking about. In our house it starts months in advance with me thinking of our color scheme. The closest we've ever gotten to pink was the polka dots we did last year. Of course dad doesn't don pink AT ALL! So when grandma called early February to find out my color scheme I didn't even flinch.

This year she bought the girls dresses (mcuh to my surprise and delight) and they were soo adorable. I picked up the girls spring/summer shoes (which is how I justify being sucked into this locomotive of spring shopping frenzy) complete with white patent leather for Kaylyn. Then I came up with the idea for their hair things and of course topped it all off with curlers on Saturday night! Anyone who has girls knows, girls are SUPPOSED to have curly hair on Easter Sunday. This year, I bent the rules a bit because Ciarra wanted straight hair, however she was not getting out of the hair poof!!

By the way for our family in the Northwest that stuff getting into the girls eyes, making them squint, that's called sunshine. You get that in the spring when you live in paradise. :-)
We don't normally do this but this year we had extra eggs so the girls had their own hunt at home! They had so much fun! Cuppie had her hunt after her nap so she went solo and her sister's loved taking her around "helping her find her eggs."
Just in case you're wondering here's what we wore. My sweetheart bought me this dress without my prompting. He knew the colors and went on the hunt. He sent me a pic and I had seen the same one. SO, he technically picked it out and bought it for me.

I remember when my girls enjoyed matching me (and each other)...but that became old as they aged, too.
