The long long day

On Friday my sweetheart was supposed to be home at 3:00 p.m. from Chicago. He had a prayer meeting scheduled at the church from 9-2a.m. When I was typing the calendar in December for the church I asked if he realized he'd planned an all night meeting on the day he was coming home from Pastor's School. He did but wasn't concerned because he'd just get an early flight in.
Well, I wish the airlines had known all these details. However even if they had, the Master of the weather knew them and my husband's early morning flight was canceled because of the winter storm that blew in. At first they tried to book him the next morning at 7:25 but he told them he had to get home. He would've been home by 8:20 but after all the delays and what not he finally got back to us and our waiting arms at 11:45!! Yep, the meeting went on without him. His new associate has really had to step up in some major ways in the last couple of weeks. Something neither of them was really planning on.
Saturday we had Vessels of Honor from West Coast Baptist College for soulwinning and church the next day. These girls were a huge blessing to us and especially the two that stayed in our home and helped me redd up for Resurrection Sunday.

Glad in the end it all worked out. We have friends who are attending/graduated West Coast (one is currently on staff). Their musical groups are a blessing!
