Last week Tuesday we were in an accident where we had stopped behind an immobile van and a car did not stop and hit us in the rear and fled, then the car behind him did not realize he had hit us so she didn't stop and she hit us also. By her own admission she did not even slow down. The police said the first car had to be going at least 60 and the second car was going at least 45. The first car did the most visible damage to our van by taking out the driver side rear lights but the 2nd car probably did the most damage over all because she was in our bumper and ruined the backup sensors that are related to the computer and now it's all messed up. The girls were very shaken up but came away with no outward scrapes or bruises. Matt is doing well and I was turned around talking to the kids when the second car hit so I am having alot of neck and back pain. Gotta go see the chiropractor.
The most frustrating part of this whole story other than the hit and run driver is trying to reach this womans insurance to get a replacement vehicle to get my van fixed. AAHHHHH! I'm sure others can understand this! Anyways back to the phone for some more wasted time on voice mails and automated touch tone "assistants".
