Remember in Finding Nemo when Nemo was getting up for school? He was shouting "first day of school! First day of school! Wake up dad!" Well, I thought it'd be fun to celebrate the first day of school in that way. I'd wake up first and then wake up the kidlets to a first day of school chorus. We'd cruise through the morning routine and move smoothly into school. The girls would be so happy about their teacher (moi) being light and happy that they wouldn't be able to be in any kind of *mood*.
*Screech* that would be the sound of reality's brakes. See the vision in my head could not be transferred into my kids' heads. I even have a schedule to show how smoothly things are scheduled to run. Didn't they get that?! Sadly, they all don't read yet! I mean not the 4,3, or 19 month old!
Why couldn't my first day of school run like Mishel's? Duh! That was hers!
Well, we did make it. Dad went in a little late so he could help me get off the ground (group effort) and we did get all the work done. Ciarra was a little shocked at the increase of work and things are not as easy as Kaylyn thought they'd be. But we will survive as many moms with small children and homeschooling have before me. Any good tips? Now would be a good time to share. *PLEASE*
After this schedule thing gets licked we should be running like a well oiled machine! HAHAHAHAHAHA!
