View of the Pacific Northwest from the slightly tainted glasses of having lived in the gloriously blue skied and warm Southwest for over a decade

Oh, the thinks you can think
On Tuesday evening my doorbell rang and I went to grab the camera. We were expecting some very special people to be on the other side of that door. The kids were poised (read: desperately trying to open the screen) and the grandparents along with uncle Steven were on the other side, eager to come in! I stood there with the camera over my husband's shoulder and nothing. was. happening. Well, not that nothing was happening. Fact is, everyone was hugging and Solomon, Johnny and now Benji were getting their sniffs in. I was desperate to get the reunion pics and my camera was flashing E:91:01 if you own a Cybershot and know what that means, please email me! Otherwise, the ever so helpful people at Sony support will be happy for me to pay them a WHOLE bunch of money so they can diagnose my camera and then they'll call me to tell me how much more I can dole out to them for the repairs. You may remember that I bought this camera last year! In March! After my Canon decided to kick the bucket! I have very bad luck some'n with digital cameras.
So what I'd have loved to show y'all today is how the church building looks in anticipation of our 10th anniversary/birthday celebration tomorrow.
I'd also love to show you the pic of Ciarra's 20th lost tooth. Well, ok, that was a bit of an exaggeration, it's her 5th. But she's so used to her momma's blogging that she said, "mommy, it would be so cool to take a picture of me holding my tooth in the baggy and then one of me smiling so Aunt Pam and the cousins and nana and papa and etc (my etc [i.e. family in WA]) could see my lost tooth on your blog." *sigh* yes that would be cool daughter. Except that this family only has ONE camera and it doesn't work remember?
Well, I'm workin on the issues at hand. Please be patient. If all else fails I'll load some slightly grainy phone pics because, after all, what's a post without pics?!
~sigh~ This is my second comment cuz my computer is messing up but if you did get the first, sorry! You gotta love all the cool technology but when it messes up, it is irritating! We are down to one cam now, Mac dropped the cannon!
I do have a cybershot and find it doesn't like to take a picture when I push the button. I think it's because there is "so much to it" and I really have more camera than I could use.
I've been married to my college sweetheart for the last 10 years. We moved to the Northwest in August '08 butthe kids have their roots in the desert in Southern California.
