It's only fitting...that I have hit 100!

Alot of people like to have alot of big hoopla when they write their 100th post and honestly I thought about doing something fun...but what?
Well, I didn't need to think long for anything because this post speaks for itself...The Lord today extended His grace, to this very undeserving family, in a way we can only look at and say..."Oh God I'm overwhelmed. God you're so good to us." I have not gone into details and will not here because of the total lack of privacy. Suffice to say the Lord has answered our prayers. We had a HUGENORMOUS financial need that to some seemed to be an impossibly daunting mountain. But here's the formula: we have a God that moves impossibly daunting mountains to make them incredibly small plains.
I love it that He did not let us take the easy way out. I love it that my kids know that their mommy and daddy's God has taken care of them. I love it that His timing is always perfect.
I will let you in on a little secret here...last week we got the money to be able to take care of our situation and ease our burdens. However a couple of weeks earlier Matt and I commited that money to the Lord before we knew how much it would be. It was already His. So even though it was more than enough (and trust me we thought about what it could do for us for about 2 seconds) we cheerfully gave it ALL back to Him. We held nothing back! That is why I believe that tonight I can see His smile. Tonight I feel like my heavenly Father is pleased. Not because of the size of our gift but because when we had nothing and we commited it all to Him we did not withhold and He gets ALL THE GLORY!!!! What's so amazing is that in the end, He gave it back and took care of us as only the God of Heaven and earth can do!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your many prayers lifted up on our behalf!
