I know I've been a little slow with the updates around here but honestly y'all, who wants to read, "we had a choice today of simming, laundry, or cleaning the floors, and the swimming won. So we lathered on the sun block because, we don't believe in leather looking skin, and the girls and I were in the pool today, again, for like the 104th time this summer."
Ok, admittedly not very exciting to me. So I don't suspect that's very exciting to you.
BUT, aha, I've had a break in the summer monotony...

I left for college at the ripe young age of 17 and my mom is not a daredevil. Yeah those two words in the same sentence might even scare her. So when I left for college I told my parents I wanted to do two things 1. Cut my hair - while this may seem small I grew up with a dad who ONLY cut my hair straight across my back like every 6 months and maybe took an inch. My hair was super long, super heavy, and super dying for freedom in the form of a pair of scissors and layers. Yes, I was daring like that.
2. Skydive - I wanted to jump from a perfectly good plane over S. California like a big crazy and love every minute of it!
While the haircut came *much* sooner than the skydive, hey at least it's before turning the big 3-0, I am not any less excited!

You are kidding right?? And Matt is okay with this? My oh My! I can't wait to see pictures. I don't know if you remember an old HS friend of mine named Jessica- but she did this and LOVED it. Maybe it's a CA thing to do. All I wanted to do is go on a hotair balloon ride when I turned 30- and I am still waiting to do that! Bob thinks I'm nuts but he thinks you are CRAZY!
Okay- you are NUTS! Matt is even nutter for letting you do this? When are you doing this? I WANT TO SEE PICTURES! I am sure you will be bloggin all about it. All I wanted to do when I turned 30 was go on a hot air balloon ride- well Bob didn't want me to do that! Of course I was prego when my b-day came. And when I told my hubby of your plans- it just confirmed that you are crazier than me!
