Have I told you I have a room for rent?
Really...I got a phone call from a woman who barely spoke english, wanting to rent my extra room...she passed the phone to her husband eventually, and he was inquiring about my room for rent.
With the passing of time I don't remember all the details but the man was very frustrated that I didn't have a room for rent. I explained to him that all the rooms in my house are being used. He confirmed the phone number in whatever ad he was looking at and was very verbal about that.
He asked me why I placed the ad. Um, hello, do you recall I said I didn't place the ad? Then how did it get there? He asked. I have no idea.
In his broken english (which sounded to my untrained ear to be Vietnamese) he let me know that he wasn't happy with me.
I'm so sorry Mr. so and so there's no room for rent here. Hope you found a nice place though.

LIKE you have room in your house- don't you have 2 rooms and both are occupied?! Plus, who would be crazy enough to rent to a total stranger in this day in age? What a hoot!
YES! We (or I) finally joined the world of bloggers. I emailed you our listing- plus you can get it from here now. It's so much fun. I put it off way too long. I think it's going to be so much easier to keep up to date with everyone now. I do visit your site often, I just never knew how to add to your comments w/o joining.
